Smartomate is a Slovenian digital innovation SME focused on tourism, hospitality, process automation, and AI-supported services.
Founded by Janja Viher and Branko Kmetec, Smartomate combines tourism and project development understanding with strong expertise in business process automation, low-code platforms, data, and AI orchestration.
We work with providers and partners who want practical digital transformation — especially in sectors where experiences, communication, and operational coordination matter as much as the technology behind them.

Janja Viher – CEO
Janja brings over two decades of leadership in regional development, tourism innovation, and public-private project management. Having led tourism boards, municipalities, and EU-funded initiatives, she is the bridge between strategic development and sectoral execution. At Smartomate, she channels her extensive network and know-how into enabling digital transition in culturally rich yet technologically underserved sectors.
Branko Kmetec – CTO
Branko is a senior BPM architect and AI strategist with more than 20 years of international experience across industries like banking, insurance, logistics, and government. From Appian to Camunda, from process orchestration to agentic AI systems, he leads Smartomate’s technical direction. His mission: to make powerful automation and AI systems accessible and impactful for small and mid-sized organizations.
